Many guys like you have already found what they were looking for. They did it by starting here. As of August 2024, the Father Deydier Houses on the campus at Sacred Heart serve two distinct purposes.
The “House of Discernment” is a non-seminary program for men who are in college or are working. We help them discover what God is calling them to do after a year with us. This house is in the former rectory.
The “House of Formation” provides our first-year seminarians a community of formation for their initial or “Propaedeutic Stage”. The House of Formation is located in the former convent at Sacred Heart.
St. Joseph’s attic
The Father Deydier House has become a place where not only discerning men live, but where others find fraternity, retreat and their own time for asking the Lord to make their vocations clear. St. Joseph, through many earthly fathers, provided a perfect space for these guests.
